Nat Kent Jewellery is handmade with intention and care, in limited quantities, at our Gold Coast studio.  We combine a range of materials; such as semi-precious stones, silk tassels, claws-set zircons and lampwork glass beads, all created by artisanal partners, that have been personally selected by Nat Kent. As a result, our pieces are truly unique, with stories and variations of their own.

Since great amounts of love go into the production of your pieces, it is crucial for their longevity, that they are cared for and stored correctly.


The majority of Nat Kent Jewellery is either genuine 14KT or 18KT Gold-Plated (2.5-3.0 micron) brass. Our products are considered costume jewellery. Please keep your jewellery away from perfume, cleaning products, moisturizer, hairspray and sunscreen. These substances can cloud the brilliance of a gemstones and dull the surface of gold. Sweat and acids that form naturally in our skin, can over time, erode your plating. To protect the plating and slow down tarnishing, we recommend that you wipe your pieces with a soft, microfibre cloth after each use.

Ensure that you do not use a silver cloth, as these are often embedded with a silver polishing agent that can strip away the surface of your plating.  It is essential, that you always store your jewellery in a cool, dry place when not in use, as moisture can cause metal to patina over time.


All Nat Kent Jewellery comes in either an environmentally-friendly cardboard box, or a thick, cotton canvas drawstring bag. Although this packaging can be recycled or composted (as they are biodegradable), we suggest keeping them to store your jewellery in, when not in use.

Our large statement necklaces are packaged in our signature A4 leathergrain keepsake box with a magnetic closure. This box helps you store our statement pieces flat, to help reduce damage to wirework and solder joins.

Once you have wiped your jewellery with a soft microfibre cloth to remove any impurities that may cause tarnishing, store your jewellery in the supplied box or bag, in a cool dry place to help ensure it's longevity.


Our products pass through many hands before they reach yours. Small markings from tools, inclusions in semi-precious stones and general variations between pieces are not considered a manufacturing defect, but an indication that your piece was intentionally created with care for you. These imperfections make your product unique. Please choose carefully with purchasing your products.

With this in mind, scratches caused by transit damage, dints that may accelerate the patina process, faulty chain links, faulty clasps or faulty stone settings are considered valid reasons for returning your purchase. We want you to love your Nat Kent Jewellery and wear it with pride.

Nat Kent products are handmade in limited quantities in collaboration with skilled artisans who specialise in different area of production. As a result, our pieces are truly unique, with stories and variations of their own. To keep your Nat Kent piece in optimal condition, we suggest storing it in the dust bag or box provided with your shipment; this will keep it dry and will reduce the likelihood of tarnishing. Avoid exposing your jewellery to excessive humidity or sunlight. Our jewellery is made to last but pieces that are handled [without care] via excessive dropping, wear and tear, or improper transport / storage are more likely to show wear and potential damage over time. Please use commonsense and care when wearing and storing your Nat Kent product.

For gold plated metals, please expect some natural tarnishing over time with wear. To reduce the effect of wear, gently wipe jewellery with a soft microfibre cloth and store in a dry place. Protect jewellery from abrasive surfaces and harsh chemicals and please be mindful of wearing makeup near jewellery or of getting your plated metal piece wet, as these conditions can reduce the quality of your plating.
